As a Graduate Intern, Jacob brings his knack for research and analysis to a variety of AnLar functions. A first-year student at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy, he is no stranger to memo writing, data diving, and researching into federal, state, and district level policies.
Education research became a calling for Jacob shortly after his time in graduate school. His recent experiences include serving as a research assistant within the polysyllabic Center for Research on Children in the United States (CROCUS). Additionally, he continues to work closely with the administration at Anacostia High School, along with community and business leaders, to double the current size of internship positions for seniors.
Outside of work and school, Jacob spends most of his time, much to the annoyance of his girlfriend and neighbors, attempting to mimic his guitar idols. When that fails, he embraces his wonky curiosity by slowly whittling down the endless stack of political biographies and current affairs books.
